Please reach us at Rosemary@WideAwakeTherapy.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Wide Awake Therapy Christian Counseling primarily offers virtual sessions for convenience and accessibility to individual adults 18 and older. In-person sessions are available by request and are typically scheduled after an initial virtual consultation to ensure the best fit.
Your first session is a time to share what brings you to counseling and identify the areas that have been most difficult. We’ll talk about your goals and begin creating a plan for your care. My goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and supported as we start this journey together.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency in the healing process. As progress continues, we may shift to biweekly sessions or as needed. We’ll decide together what schedule best supports your growth.
A counseling session typically lasts for 50 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs. Every person’s journey is unique. Some clients meet for a few months, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll discuss your goals and determine the pace and duration that feel right for you.
Yes. Faith is at the foundation of my work. I believe healing is both emotional and spiritual, and I integrate biblical principles, prayer, and Scripture reflection when appropriate. Clients are always free to guide how much faith is incorporated into their sessions.
Yes. Faith and therapy are not opposites—they are complementary paths toward healing. God created our minds, bodies, and spirits to work in harmony. Evidence-based therapy offers structure and skill, while faith invites grace, truth, and transformation. When we bring both together, lasting healing becomes possible.

Sliding Scale opportunities may be available.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows your time slot to be offered to another client who may be waiting.
If weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, or a terrorist attack poses travel risks for the Counselor or Client to come to the office, the Client will be provided the option of either conducting the session online, phone, or rescheduled without incurring a cancellation fee.
The first step is scheduling a consultation. This short meeting gives us time to discuss your goals, answer questions, and see if my approach is a good fit for your needs. You can schedule directly through the link on the Contact page.
